Emmanuel Allanah has over 30 years’ experience in Development Management and Forward Planning through different local planning authorities and private sector practice in UK. Emmanuel Allanah Planning and land use management career started with Lagos State Judiciary Land Registry in Lagos State of Nigeria during early 1970’s as an assistant Registrar of Titles before embarking on further education studies in UK.

Emmanuel Allanah is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute; Director of EA Planning Services Limited (UK). And the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Emmanuel Allanah Associates Ltd (Nigeria).

From 1990 to 1997; Emmanuel Allanah served the Royal Town Planning Institute in the following capacity namely Planning and Policy Committee, Membership Panel, Race Relation Panel, Consultancy Panel and RTPI representative in the Town and Country Planning Association Management Board. In 1994; Emmanuel was the lead planning consultant through Kush Housing Association in UK that led the team of different professional consultants in the construction industry from UK to provide professional land use and Master Plan advice to the Government of South Africa Town Planning and Urban Development Department on how to plan for affordable housing and supporting infrastructure for the benefit of their various towns and cities.

Emmanuel has worked on several Master Plans, urban regeneration projects, local plan policies development, pre-application advice and assessment of minor and major complex planning applications such as mixed used development, residential, industrial, commercial, environmental impact assessment, planning appeals such as Written Representation, Hearing and Local Inquiries.
